Keep it Simple. Be Specific
This is a concept I struggle with mightily. Very mightily. I truly believe as adults, we would fail kindergarten because we overthink just about everything and maybe, just maybe are afraid of failure.
The ability to break a scenario, learning path, etc., down into consumable pieces is a gift. If that’s you, keep going. For the rest of us we may need practice.
My question for you is, on a scale of 1 to 10, how good are you at making things simple? How good are you at being specific?
For me, I had to learn and still need to learn to be more direct and specific when I ask for things for myself. That’s why I have a coach and a team that reminds me.
For making things simple, I’m pretty good at it and that’s why our clients enjoy working with us. We cut through the minutia and get to the heart of what we’re trying to solve and build. That’s what makes us great coaches and operators that help build programs that work.
